Evolution of SevenGen Concepts
Founder Kerry Loehr is a native Oregonian with a rather diverse background. He holds both a B.S. in Business. and an MBA. It was during his MBA that his lifelong love of the outdoors collided with the reality of today's business practices. Namely, he came to believe we can do much better, collectively, at making money while simultaneously protecting the planet from further degradation. This epiphany led him to Bainbridge Graduate Institute where he attained a graduate Certificate of Sustainable Business, and eventually the founding of SevenGen Concepts.
Kerry now offers guiding and training services through SevenGen Concepts. Kerry is a member of the Mazamas, a nonprofit mountaineering education organization located in Portland, Oregon. He has both received and provided training within the Mazamas organization. In addition to climbing dozens of domestic peaks, Kerry has also trekked internationally, including Peru and Nepal. Recently joining the Mt. Hood Ski Patrol has also allowed Kerry to become a certified Outdoor Emergency Care technician. As an OEC technician he can care for a variety of outdoor first aid and emergency cases, especially as a first responder.
When he's not working, skiing, or climbing you can usually find Kerry running the trails of Oregon with his dog Ivy.
